When creating, my artistic process is very meditative.

My art-making allows me to rely heavily on being led by my intuitive relationship with the materials, and creative process being in the given moment.

Art captures a resonance of memory whether that be a mark on the page created by the artist’s hand or a moment captured by a photograph. It enables us to revisit that experience time and time again allowing the viewer to internalize the experience and connect to it in a personal way.

As I work, I follow the path of line creating texture, movement, and memory across the page. For me, the lines and marks of color I create act as an allegory for memory, resonance and meaning.
